Objectives of the training
The aim of the Master 2 Development Economics and International Project Management (DEIPM) is to acquire the necessary skills in project management and economic expertise. While the M1 provides fundamental knowledge of economics, mainly international and development economics, the M2 enables this knowledge and international project management techniques to be developed in greater depth.
The aim of the Master 2 DEIPM is to prepare executives who wish to work as project managers or economic experts in international organisations or national public agencies working in the field of aid to emerging or developing countries, NGOs, multinational companies or consultancies.
Benefits of the training
- The courses are entirely taught in English, and draw on both economics and management
- Professional pathway: with an internship followed by a dissertation
- Research pathway: with a research dissertation under closer supervision, leading to the possibility of a PhD
- Input from representatives of the socio-professional world involved in the course, working in international project management and economic analysis of developing countries
- Field assignments to apply the skills acquired in project management
- Co-operation agreement to attend a series of conferences organised by the World Bank
After the training
The Master 2 Development Economics and International Project Management leads to jobs as economic experts, consultants or project managers in international organisations, national public agencies, NGOs working in developing countries, multinational companies or consultancies.
It also enables students to complete a doctoral thesis at the University (provided they have taken the research dissertation option in M2 and completed a research placement at the Gustave Eiffel University or UPEC).
